Can’t Handle It

A “plaited” love story, Can’t Handle It follows one conversation through three moods in a couple’s relationship. She doesn’t want to fall in love with him. But is it already too late?

Can’t Handle It was directed and shot by Malcolm Greenhill from my one page script which had placed in the top three in the Menagerie Theatre Company Hotbed Festival One Page Play Competition in that year. It stars Juliette Burton and Martin Ruddock.

Since then, Malcolm went on to place in the top ten in the last ever Virgin Media Shorts Competition with his short “Brando-ing”, while Juliette has become rather famous in the UK with her unique docu-comedy shows, including Rom-Com-Con, When I Grow Up and Look at Me.

The film was shown as part of the CIFA showcase at the Cambridge Film Festival

This was the first script I ever had produced and I love the result.

  1. It was fun to read about the evolution and preparation for “Hyton on Homicide.” What a fantastically involved process. Congratulations for coming this far.
I need to see this play, but being stateside, I may have to wait until it opens on Broadway.
